Problems with private messages

Hi

I am trying to send a private message.

After sending it appears in my
Outbox but not my Sent box.

If I send a message to myself it goes straight to my Sent box
and I get a copy in my Inbox.

I am not sure if people don't like me and don't reply
to my private messages or they never get them!

I think private messages stay in your outbox until they are collected by the recipient at which point the move to the sent box. At least I seem to recall that was the way it worked. Somebody may well come along to correct me

Mr's right - confused the hell out of me at first - just wait, and it'll go when the recipient next logs in/out - I think...

The PM will stay in you outbox until the other member logs in, then a copy goes into your sent box and their in box. So if they are staying in your out box they have not logged in yet.
This is to give you the option to delete the message if you want before they have picked it up.
