Hi everyone,

I have been lurking around this forum over the past few days as I have been trying to find some plans for an extending table, which I have found, however, they are not exactly what I'm after.

I want to make an extending table where the legs extend with the top, rather than just the top. This is basically because our space is very limited and we want to be able to have 3 seats either side without the table legs being in the way of the chairs/diners.

Would I be better off just making an end extending table in this situation (this is what most I've seen are like that have legs that extend with the top), or would a double extender, with a middle extension leaf be relatively the same level of difficulty?

Also, what is the term for this type of extending table, where the legs extend with the top? I have struggled to find any info on this online.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Matt
