Evening all
Well i don't know about Peter, Sarah and the rest of their team but I for one am totally knackered. I don't think I stopped from even before w e were officially open until doors closed. It was relentless. Great to see so many people there, I think Sarah counted about 150 visitors. Fantastic.
What particularly struck me was just how much prep goes intoa day like that. I was there yesterday to have a look at the stuff I was demonstrating and everyone - and I do mean everyone - was running around making sure that everything was ready. Peter and Sarah were working until midnight and starting again at 5.30 today. I had excellent fish and chips on a local pub and fell asleep reading installation manuals.

I didn't take any photos but there were cameras going off, so if you have any pictures, please share them on here.

I need a drink, dinner and bed.

Just wish it was it bit nearer to me Steve and I'd have been there like a shot. They must be completely knackered coming off the back of Harrogate show last weekend.
I don't know Peter but spoke to him on the phone on Thursday before placing an order for a Router Raiser - what a nice genuine guy.

I missed this post yesterday Steve, a couple of hours worth of tidying up after the show and putting stock away, then we had a relaxing evening with our girls and early to bed.

Thanks for your help along with Pete, Paul, Sam, Harvey and Sarah for helping yesterday and the support of our students who helped on friday evening setting up and yesterday showing visitors their work. The quality of the students first term training pieces look excellent (possibly the strongest group yet) and should produce some very good individual designed work in the new year.

We changed the format a little this year with more emphasis on the new routing tables and trying to show something a little different.

Just a note that one of the magazines printed last years date of the 30th November so not sure if we will have more visitors tomorrow

If anyone was planning to come along tomorrow you will get some very individual assistance or you are more than welcome to call in to see us at any time, just worth ringing ahead first if possible.

Cheers Peter

So, no photos then! :)
Here are a couple courtesy of Eric the Viking. They make it look as if the place was empty, but I assure you it wasn't. And I didn't spend all day on the Incra setup, but here is a flavour.

There was a bargain oddments table and I had the last of the Woodpecker ali extrusions. It's going to make me a rather splendid router fence.

Peter Parfit has produced a video. Do a search on YouTube for New Brit Workshop and you should find it. Not sure if I can get the link from my phone.

Isn't Peter Parfitt just an absolute top bloke!

It is a bit depressing though how old most of the attendees are, nothing against oldies but it would be nice to see a few more youngsters in the crowd.

Peter's video's are very well thought out and well produced, great to see a UK based woodworker doing so well on You Tube. Peter is a very genuine and generous with his time - he deserves all the subscribers that follow his videos.
