Osmo is a manufacturer Peter, not a specific product.
Danish oils are generally decent finishes and if used correctly give the protection their respective makers claim for them, and I think it's probably fair to say that they're usually used as the sole finish on something. That's not to say you shouldn't or can't put something over the top but it might not be necessary.
