The UNCTV / PBS website now has a few promo videos and one full length episode of the latest series of St Roy's evergreen offerings, so keep checking it as new programmes should be appearing in the next week or so.

The full length one is on building a big chunky bench. Other episodes will cover pinch rods and alternatives to the bench vice.

Just a quick update to say that so far five episodes of the latest series have been made available to watch online -

- building a bench with stopped sliding dovetails
- making "pinch rods and squeezy blocks"
- two programmes on a tripod table with clever tapered dovetails
- alternatives to the vice for work holding.

Another one up today!

I had a quick scan through I saw what looks like an Ashley Iles chisel!

He couldn't catch it though! ;-)

Can these be downloaded? Our Internet's not quite up to real-time streaming so would be nice to be able save it and watch on the TV

Thanks, Tony S

They are not designed to be easily downloaded, no. I expect a clever computer person could get round it, but they don't want anyone to.

Popular Woodworking sells a DVD or download option for series 1 to 27 http://www.popularwoodworking.com/roy-underhill

Some older episodes may also be on YouTube.
