New Lumberjack drum sander

I've been shopping around for a wide drum sander for some time now. I like the Axminster 400mm wide sander but can't justify that price, same for the Laguna. But I've seen Lumberjack have released a 450mm

I've not had any experience with lumberjack machinery and I realise they are in the lower price bracket so I was wondering if anyone here has had any experience with this on here. Should I go for it or steer clear?

I should add, I don't mind a bit of fettling to get it just right but I don't want to have to do this every time I change the sandpaper for instance.

I'm also interested in the outcome of this. Can't find any reviews at all.

What I have noticed is the stupid square/rectangular extraction outlet. Might be fine for their bag, not great for proper extraction - though having a 3d printer will help me get round that.

I have concerns that the weight of any board is held by the 4 rods, one at each corner, meaning you could easily end up sanding at an odd/slightly off angle.

IIRC this one adjusts the bed up to the sander roller, others mostly have the bed fixed and adjust the roller to the bed.
This is the Same idea as cheap planer thicknesser, which IMHO is less rigid than say a normal thicknesser.

I've looked at this a few times, but never hit the buy button. Since it's the only one of this design I've seen, so wary why others stick to using adjusted drum height. Which in my logic is far easier to balance and keep parallel where as this has four points to align, so inherently more difficult to keep or get aligned.

I am a new member; and I'm uncertain as to how this site works.
I have a drum sander which I purchased from new which I will be selling for £550 o.n.o.

This machine was made in the USA and is on castors. The belt table paper needs to be fine tuned as it's not running true. I have enjoyed using this machine as it gives you a very fine polished finish. Please note that with each pass you can only take off a fraction of a millimetre.
