Hi all
I have been thinking for some time of replacing my Thyme Avon, and have been looking at the Axminster 1200 or the Jet 1642. I had a look at the Jet 1220VS yesterday and was impressed, as usual by the Jet build.
I am now thinking of keeping the Tyme for larger bowl work, something I don't do that often, and getting the smaller jet for the small work that makes up most of my attempts at turning. Question is, does have anyone own one? or what do you guys think of my cunning plan.
