Do they exist?
Need 5 or 6mm diameter and as long as possible. Twist or brad point, not fussy. Anyone got a source for longer than normal?

Funny seeing your post, I needed extra long 2mm drills for pilot holes with scroll saw projects, found some extra long toolzone bits at a local indoor market just yesterday

8 for £1.50 can't be bad
 
How long do you need? I have 300mm drill bits in certain sizes, they are readily available.

I assume the OP is looking for at least a degree of accuracy, so whether a spade would work is debatable.
Yes they can wander a bit. It all depends on what you want to do with the hole. But they are fast, cheap and easy to sharpen.
