My own little 'un (few months younger than yours) has been reading the screwfix catalog for the past couple of months - Recently, she's started taking Mummy's purse from her bag and getting her cards out. - Hopefully she'll put two and two together soon and order me some nice new Li-Ion tools

But Philly they don't tire of the toys, my boy accumulates tools faster than I do, mine keep disappearing and I find then in his toolbox.
