January Challenge - picture problems

Hi trying to post entry keep getting picture too big they are 640 x 480 made them smaller 540 x 400 still says too big not hand this problem last time help please Thank you

I suspect it's not pixel size, it's the file size that's the problem, the file must be less than 256kb

it is probably the file size that is to big as opposed to the picture size if that makes sense. The pics need to be no bigger than 256kb.
(right click on your pic and check its properties.
There are a few resizing hints in chas' thread at the top of the page...
