Real parasites in the UK are Hedge Fund managers, Corporate Bankers, chief Executives of Privatised Utilities, Tory Peers, people with off shore tax arrangements etc
That is just another bunch of parasites - I won't argue this one :D
Jews were allowed by their God to be kicked out of their land as a punishment for their sins. They were supposed to never come back there but the West decided otherwise and destabilized the whole region, giving a spark to the fire that fuels hate between Arabs and Western countries (just what we needed after the dust from the crusades settled down).

Fair play to India for their feat, but am I alone in thinking their simulation graphics were a bit " Oliver Postgate"? :)

Prince William alone would need to smile inanely several million times a year to "earn" what the Duchy of Cornwall pays him.
I don't hold any preferences for royalty but as long as they bring in more than they cost the taxpayer then they're OK by me.

I see the passion and conviction of our left wing friends in their contributions so please convince me of why I should be a socialist. First off, there must be after over a century of struggle at least one socialist country that stands out as an example of the benefits that the ideology will bring. One that any socialist would willing climb on to an airplane and fly off to forever after packing up their goods and family and saying good bye forever to their native western capitalist homeland?

If they can’t name one country, then perhaps they would be so kind to highlight why this doesn’t exist?

We are focused on the fact that they have landed on the moon but is it really a good objective, what does it achieve in reality. For me it seems like rather than cutting up wood to make something we just cut it up for fun and it becomes nothing. Maybe we are starting to realise that we are actually nothing more than prisoners on our planet and are going no where else because apart from not having any destination in mind the fact our next nearest galaxy is 25,000 light years away makes getting there a problem and that is if it is still there. We need to put all our attention on ensuring the planet we are living on is looked after and can support life long term rather than wanting to live on the moon.

I think you have more faith in voters than I do Phil.
If we had a more unbiased popular press, better education...& got rid of as many private schools as we could...
Voters might be better informed as to the consequences of their votes...
How exactly would getting rid of private schools achieve this?

Is the argument for capitalism or socialism just a rut like having labour or conservatives ! They all have one thing in common and that is a sound history in failure and so why remain stuck in the rut. We are supposed to be intelligent beings so part of that is knowing when to throw in the towel and take a different direction but the real underlying problem is actually human beings, everything comes back to us and we are much better at creating problems than solving them. Maybe we are on this planet as part of some experiment being undertaken by another race many light years away or just here for their entertainment, maybe the universe is not really that big at all but we are very small on some dusty laboratory shelf and what we see as planets are in reality just microscopic particles of dust and debris but whatever way you look at it we are very insignificant in the overall picture.

@TRITON Anywhere at any time. Regime change by the USA included. Atlantis is excluded😂

I’m going to extend the challenge to include major cities, since it appears naming a Country is too hard. I know we have superb examples of well run (this is irony) Democrat cities in the USA like Chicago, Los Angeles and New York to name but three where crime is running a mock since they took over. Not to exclude the UK, we have Derek Hatton (for those of you old enough to remember) in Liverpool which has now again gone bankrupt under another labour council, and look at the left wing mayors Mayors, Manchester, Birmingham and of course our crowning glory London all with massive rising crime, and most things out of control. Not to be too biased to England we have of course the delights of the Scottish Nationalist Party (SNP) another socialist based party with a record of making Scotland far worse place to live than before they took over, drugs, life expectancy, literacy rates……
Im shocked we still have so many who believe in the utopia of adjective misery that the socialist agenda brings about. But I’m willing to be convinced, truly, please highlight anywhere that the socialist agenda has brought about a better standard of living, more equal society and created a better standard of living than what went before.

Another fallacy - we'd improve state education by abolishing private schools. You'd just as well try to improve the railways by abolishing buses.
