Thanks for the acceptance. Quick intro to me. I've been a keen DIYer for many years and like making various projects using a variety of materials. I've recently bought a cheap Lidl wood lathe to get me started in wood turning. I've only had a couple of goes and made 3 different sized chisel mallets that I think came out quite well and am pleased with them. I'm sure there will be various things I will likely need help with so please be gentle with me. 
and good luck with turning ( I don’t have the space for one ) but the pictures members post of their work are awesome and truly amazing.
