I’m a Newby here, who has been lurking for far too long. Thought it was about time I registered and started to contribute, given the amount advice to others that I have benefited from.
A clear example of this was last week when I contacted Doug from Cutting Solutions mentioning that I lurked about on UKworkshop and wanted a rip blade. First email to Doug was on Thursday afternoon and low a behold first thing on Saturday morning a 315mm 24T ATB blade was on my door step, without any monies changing hands.
Saturday afternoon I popped it in my Scheppach TS4010 to rip down a 2” steamed beech board, I think the appropriate phrase is “like a hot knife though butter”.
So a big thank you to Doug for the great service and to all forum members for the advice and inspiration you provide.
The only unwanted side effect of hanging round here is on my bank balance!
