HELP do i need to buy a new router ???

Procedures depend on your tool kit. I've had my Hitachi over 10 yrs and it was S/H when I bought it, Cleaned, re-bearinged and brush changes as needed seems to keep them going for ever.
Not knowing what tool kit you have I'll PM you this evening.
