fish mate pond filter

hi does anyone have a fish mate uv pond filter if you do what do you use to keep the pipe on that comes from the pump because last year it kept popping off and then water goes everywhere

don't you need to use a jubilee clip on the connection?

yes i have been using jubilee clips but they don't stay on

If your using ribbed hose then you will need these type of jubilee clips rather than the flat steel ones

Use the adhesive for solvent welding waste pipes. Apply this to the plastic section on the filter that the pipe fits onto, and when still wet, sprinkly sand over it.

This will act as the gripper for the pipe and jubilee clip :wink:
