I had assumed you would cut when moving the saw from bottom to top but it looks like you plan to cut whilst moving the saw from top to bottom. What is your thinking behind that?
 
Moved on with the saw and it's pretty much complete except for adhesive measuring tapes.

Looks like the brackets on the back are hooked over the support, so the can easily be moved to other supports above or below.

Yes that's correct they have metal "L" brackets on the back of them that allows them to be moved to any height. :wink:
