Mitre saw came with two 40 series 40T blades that have served me well. Both are now dull.

Should I re-sharpen (suggestions where / how much) or renew (again - suggestions manufacturer / supplier)

Mostly used for cross cut / mitre cuts skirtings / picture rails etc but occasionally for nicer pieces of oak

Many thanks

I would say resharpen, personally I use Leitz.
The standard blade that came with mine is fine for most jobs.
But I do use a fine blade solely for light pelmet and cornice

get them sharpened for sure, its a fraction of the price of new blades and those dewalt blades arent bad imho :)

look in your local yellow pages under saw sharpening

i have a frued blade in mine and the quality of cut is superb i think its has 48 teeth. much better than the standard. but the series 40 is still not a bad blade esp for rougher work.

£4.40 + vat / blade. What a bargain!
Thanks
