I am looking for an 8” Dado Blade Set what would be a good make and a good place to get them from.

the USA I would suggest- they seem to be readily available and cheaper, even the likes of Amazon have freud. Whether it is worth it after shipping etc, then you would need to weigh it up.

The Freud's more expensive. Different makes, that's all (afaik).

Blades arrived today from Wordford but not the freud set i ordered but the £20.00 cheaper set i am now hopping mad :x :evil:

Look at the small print it says freud set the picture is of the cheap set, i know what the freud look like

Curious. I didn't see "excalibur" on the details that mention "Freud" three times. I wonder why the firm is listing the same item with slightly different details and completely different prices?

Its a con they even had finger prints on them and they were not packed correctly so they will have been returned before.

I suspect they have copied the listing and neglected to change the details.

Ebay would be on your side if decided to open a dispute, I'm sure. Up to you. They may sort it out if you ask them nicely.

Wow that sucks, hopefully you'll get a satisfactory resolution Wizard.

I must admit I considered buying that set a year ago but in the end I bought the Dewalt DW7670 from the US and was £140 including shipping and customs, really pleased with how it performs.
