Repair? You're kidding, surely. Those tyres need replacing, and with such a stunning machine, why would you compromise. This will be a one-off if you replace them, but you'll be repairing constantly if you don't.

I trued up the wheels on my Wadkin bandsaw, which was a similar age, and I never had to touch them again. So, it's really down to how successfully I can repair the missing pieces. Even there, I think it would probably perform just fine, for the purpose I have in mind, without any repairs - just truing up and creating a minimal crown.

Replacing the tyres is just a different compromise, to me
