Yesterday, I used 'quick reply' (at the bottom of every forum page) to respond to a topic in General Woodworking. Now, every new page I open has that same message 'stuck' in the reply box - I even had to delete it when I started to type this message. I guess this message will now become default! Any ideas as to why this might be happening and how to clear it?

thanks
Liam

Text Not persistent in my Quick reply box.

What are you using to communicate? is the device caching the information?

Certain functions are cached on my Kindle that are not normally cached on my PC for instance.

Is what you are seeing just pertinent to the same subject/thread or is the same text present across threads?

Thanks for the test Chas,

Message persists across threads, sent messages, logins and logouts - and seems to resist all attempts to change it or delete it!
I am using a standard PC with Chrome - a-ha! It does not persist across browsers.... a Chrome thing???

Liam

Does not persist in my Chrome Version 34.0.1847.116

Op sys. Win8.1 latest version.
