Hi

I have read several posts about how to set up a remote for this type of extractor (with a NVR) but they all refer to a post by bobby (i think) that i can't find. Does anyone have this post to hand or point my in the direction of how to by pass and set up the remote switch?

thanks for the reply, i'll have a look.

Found some other threads and a simple suggestion is to put a pull cord (it would work well for me). But i assume I have to remove the NVR, what do i put in its place?

It's a lot easier than a 16amp plug system.

You can buy a standard remote package - I use this one for my extractor : Energenie Remote Control Sockets (Pack of 4) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B004A7XGH8/ ... RzbK02H0R9

Then bypassing the NVR is a pretty complex procedure. Listen very carefully.

Step 1. Cable tie a small piece of wood over the on switch of the NVR so it presses it in.

The end :D
