The green and wetter end of the M4.
.. past the prototype stage (I'm no good at drilling matching holes etc), even though i prefer this one to my entry, its more fun!

Love 'em both Nev. Beautifully finished as ever. Especially liking the "flying saucer" in t'other thread, it has a definite warmth to it.

You`ll have to Klingon to that or the grandkids will have it away !!!!!
(sorry, couldn`t help it)

Another Trekkie here likes that a lot Nev. Lovely wood combination and instantly recognisable. Lovely.

Thanks for the nice comments.
surprisingly simple to make, from small offcuts not much good for anything and quite good for a bit of skew practice, with the only technical bit reversing the saucer - solved with a dished bit of scrap and a few dabs of hot glue. I'm sure a more detailed or accurate model could be made with the aid of other methods and tools but it did work out well for an entirely turned project.
Swmbo says I now have to make some sort of support/ stand for it now so it can go on display.

Go on make one. You know you want to... Resistance is futile!
