Alex' gents saw

Hi woodworker,

Alex Gent's Saw is inished. The wood is Ziricote and the back shorter than on my saw, the saw plate thickness is the same. Alex did some experimenting and filed chamfers on the back (which won't make it into production models). I hope you enjoy the pictures

Somehow, the boldness of the back and the delicacy of the handle and steel make a perfect combination.....and the bevel chamfering is just perfect!

Pedder, I think you should really consider having this bevel on production models...it is the "icing on the cake" as we say in Britain!
