    Axminster Air Nailer AW50N - Problems

    The firing pin is not returning. I notice Axminster do a replacement pin, but I am pretty sure this will NOT solve the problem. I've stripped it apart tonight and rebuilt it. The pin 'o' ring is a good seal in the piston. It seems like there should be 2 air pulses, one to fire, one to return...

    Dust Filter

    spent a couple of hours today making an air filteration box. Built round Axminsters replacement air filter and pre filter and a radiator fan from an old polo. All done, and runs off a battery charger at the moment. Need to put a spped switch in to slow it down as it's a bit windy behind it ...

    prompted by another thread, I thought I'd put these pics in their own thread. I made it years ago to clamp in my workmate. But now clamp it to my workbench when I need it. Simple as ! Just put you belt sander on a scrap of ply and draw round it. Then just glue/pin whatever, some more scraps...

    well, I picked my little spindle moulder up today. Never having seen one before, I'd like to know how it ticks. If anyone can explain what each bit does that'd be great ! I have some spare spindles, so I guess they just screw in and out ? I have 5/8" 3/4" and one that takes router bits...

    best wood for kitchen utensils ??
