    Relaxation of planning rules

Agree, not for one minute suggesting its a bad idea. However the roof can only be 4 meters high, so 8 meters deep, wide as your hoause extension with only a 4 meter roof, mmmmm |I would prefer to see pitched roofs as the same as the original roof and same tiles etc, I am not a fan of two story...

Hammer A3 31 v Sedgwick MB Planer Thicknesser

I have the MB with Tersa block and I think its excellent, very heavy, solid, doesn't need too much adjustment, not finshed well but does works as it should. I had a Felder table saw some time ago and it was far better engineered although had some electrical problems (new circuit board £200)...

I use 3-4" 6mm think angle iron and bolt casters on the bottom from Axminster, fixed at the back and swivel (with break) at the front. I bold the machine to the top of the iron I have sedgwick spindles and p/t in fact all my machines are on them, they also add weight and are very cheap

    Workbench envy...

I always make mine out of old worktops I take out of old houses and old fence posts, mind you my workshop looks like a mix of fashion from the 60s, 70s, 80's and even a very small piece of 2010 granite! It resembles something from a "changing rooms" makeover but free!
