    jen, i have a camvac to,,, only 1 motor one. i was trying to think how to solve your noise when the mrs suggested. turn the radio up :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: try giving it a good clean, filters, both vents, and believe or not check for bits of wood stuck near the bin/pipe...

    Here is one to test your memory....

    dave, i made a small footstool for my mum in mahogany about 40yrs ago. it cost me 6 shillings for the wood and my dad still has it. the top lifts up so he uses it for magazines etc. and it still looks like new even today. i was 14 or 15 at the time.

    jacob, what i am saying is that if modern drawer slides were available he would have used them. but i must agree there is nowt better than traditional drawers.
