workshop alarm

Hi , have viewed for a while and read reviews and ideas and found some useful information. This is my first post so here goes.... Have been setting up a workshop and invested in some nice machinary...my question is what alarm to use on my workshop? It is a brick built garage with steel 50/50 split opening doors....Reading some reviews but they appear contradictorary...Thanks in advance

I have an alarm fitted by a NACOSS Gold approved professional alarm company that is connected for Police Response via Redcare.

I have a wicks alarm just door sensors as pir kept going off as the heat changed but I also have a guard dog to look after the keys
