Hi all,

Has anybody used, bought, or seen these workbenches, there seems to be a few people selling them for around the hundred pound mark. I know they are not going to be as sturdy as a one costing 3,4, times more but in these hard times they dont seem to bad.
This is to go in my single garage so will go against the wall as space is a minimum, it will be used to just do a few light jobs, bit of planing, and routing when i get one.
I have been using workmates old kitchen units just thought this might be ok!

If you bolt it to the garage wall it is going to be fairly sturdy. Bolt through the wall and the legs, near the top and bottom in each, use wing nuts and you will be able to move it if needed.

Hi Craig,

I agree about bolting it the wall, I have done the same thing when I have built a less than sturdy bench. Lets be honest though it must be more sturdy than workmates and old kitchen units.

I would be interested to know how you get on.

Cheers, Si
