Wixey digital height gauge

Has anybody got one of these?
I came across it when I was browsing "Stu's Shed".
It has about a 4" height adjustment and can be used for setting blade
height, router bit height and fence/bit depth.
It costs around £35.
I have the digital angle gauge which is a good piece of kit.
I suspect not, but was wondering if it can measure accurately small
enough to be used to set planar depth - I know Wixey supply a
specialised digital planar gauge which has received mixed feedback.
