Windows live mail help please

My mail box is getting slow, (there are over 1500 mails in) and I cannot seem to find a button that lets me select all mails in the inbox and then press a delete.

Can anyone help please?

Windows 7 64 bit, windows live mail.

You should be able to when in the inbox press Ctrl + A simultaneously. This should select everything in the inbox, alternatively, you can select the top message in your inbox and pres at the same time Ctrl + Shift + End and again all messages should be highlighted.

if this is hotmail just below "inbox" is a square, click on that and it fills all the boxes then click on delete

Thanks, Ctrl + a worked, help, I have got over 3347 mails in my deleted box, even the ones that used to be on my old computer, ( the old hard drive was used on new computer) :mrgreen:
