Thanks lurker. I confine the work to short sessions and stop before any tingling begins. I figure when I get to the point where there is no tingling I'll be looking up at the bottom of the grass. All the things we did when young catch up to us when old, unfortunately long after prevention is possible. ;)

Hi all

Everywhere I have worked has stated no gloves on mills, lathes, drills or rotating machinery unless they are just disposable for skin protection against cutting fluids. A finger may get damaged but a gloved finger can get caught and cause far more harm.
 
Definitely agreed with Spectric for when using machinery.

Is there an opinion from HSE on plasters?
