What do you folks think of these machines??

Hi folks,

I have been having a look around for a table saw & planer/thicknesser. Found some fairly local to me too! The guy has a Charnwood W640 Sliding Carriage saw Table £650.00 will take £550.00, an Elektra Beckum HC260 Planer Thicknesser £275.00 will take £250.00 & a Multico PM20 Morticer £275.00 will take £250.00 all on Brighton Gumtree if you need to have a look (forum wouldn't let me post links).

Any thoughts?? I have had a saw very similar to the Charnwood and the spec s about bang on for what I am looking for.

I used to have an elektra beckum HC260. If in good condition it is a nice machine. The beds are aluminium and may need tweaking to get dead parallel to one another and the fence can flex slightly if you are heavy handed, but used carefully it can produce some good work work.
