Go for Teak. I saw it used to re-line a quay on a tidal UK river thirty-odd years ago and it still looks sound to me. If a little battered by 27 000 tonners.

As offered, Nigel very kindly sent me an off-cut of teak free for postage, and then didn't even let me pay that! What a star! A light tickle with a couple of planes and it's going to look brilliant and do the job very nicely indeed.
Many thanks to Nigel - a real gent!

can the unit not be moved and bring the plumbing through the back of the unit? I just recently did this for a customer. I can't understand why they put the pipe on the outside of the wall to hook these things up. It looks terrible and you end up having to come up with some solutions that really just hide the problem and lead to further problems later on.
