I've used the older version which was OK but this looks like a solid improvement (sits lower on the bench, no annoying handle/toggle thing).

I had a (quick) look at UK suppliers list on the Veritas site yesterday Bart just out of interest. http://www.veritastools.com/Dealers/DealerList.aspx and couldn't see one with them available yet on this side of the pond. Wonder if it's available yet over here if it's brand new. Aren't Lee Valley affiliated with Veritas in some way? Maybe they get first dibs on the market or some such?

Waiting to see what NoLegs comes up with now. (hammer)

Interesting. Yeah I think Lee Valley and Veritas are the same thing or at least affiliated or whatever.

And it doesn't seem to be brand new, this bloke reviewed it about five months ago.

Maybe if there's enough interest we can do some sort of group buy or something.

Veritas are the manufacturing side of Lee Valley. Biggest problem with having anything delivered from Canada is the postage unless you're willing to wait for surface mail.

I needed a couple of light weight bits for my Leigh jig and the cheapest signed for postage was $36 (+ duty & VAT) Ended up getting them from German agent as Axminster were quoting 3 months! Maybe worth seeing if Dictum carry them.
