Union Graduate headstock differences

This is a post to show the two differences in Graduate headstocks for anyone who is thinking of purchasing a UG just be aware of the differences incase the one you buy is not suitable for what you want, as one will take both a short bed and a long bed and the other will only take a long bed! Although I'm pretty sure it can be adapted to take a short bed but just be aware of the two.

Thanks for that Bill, a Short Bed has been on my shall I, sharn't I list for a while, this is more information to store away. If I am reading this correctly a short bed should ALWAYS be upgradeable to a longer bed (but not the other way around).

I think you can still put a short bed on with a bit of tinkering but if you have the shortbed headstock it does both.
