I'm selling this lathe due to upgrading to a Unimat 3 with milling attachment. I am very sad to see it go. Emco Unimat SL lathe which was upgraded last year with a new 24v DC 100w motor, driven by a 24V 5A 120W PSU and a pwm variable speed controller. The lathe was last used 2 weeks ago and was still running perfectly fine. The lathe comes housed in an old but sturdy plywood tool box, which has a strong carry handle and rubber feet as well as detachable lid. This could be easily replaced by its new owner if desired but is included with the sale. The lathe also comes with the following; Original 3 Jaw Scroll Chuck with Tommy Bars 8cm diameter Faceplate Tool Post with Cutting Tool Original Tailstock Drill Chuck & Chuck Key Allen Key Fixed Centre I would like £340 for this. Due the electronic components installed for the lathe I would prefer collection for this. We are only a 5 minute walk away from Stanford Le Hope, Essex railway station which terminates at London Fenchurch Street and as the lathe can be carried in its case this may be an option for buyers further afield (or you could use a car of course). As the lathe is housed in a box I could also ship in the new year once the Christmas rush is over.  |
