Hi all.
I'm fitting a new toilet and need to buy one with a higher outlet. They all seem to range from 180-185mm to centre.
I need around 200mm.
I don't like the idea Of sitting it on a plinth. Also will an offset connector still work sufficiently at that height?
Thanks

Put 'high outlet toilet' into Google and look at images. Even in a tiny thumbnail, it is easy to see if there is a '1' or a '2' at the beginning of the dimension.

Yeah the pipe is higher and can't be moved unfortunately.
I was looking at these but concerned waste will get caught up in it.

It will! - I've replaced a similar situation recently where not only was the "step" on the coupling the wrong way round there was a sagging flexible pipe. Not pleasant.

Yes definately avoid those corrugated flexy waste pipes as they are just a bodge for anyone not wanting to do the job right.

With just 20mm offset it is not ideal but probably your best solution unless you alter the actual soil pipe itself. Some pictures may help, does your soil pipe go straight through the wall onto the stack or is there any pipe run within the bathroom ?

If you install an offset connector upside down then it will cause problems with the flush and will hold a puddle and be permanently wet and at risk of leaking. Either get one with a high outlet ,use a wall hung, raise the whole floor level or lower the outlet. A bodged toilet install is unpleasant for everyone.
