Thoughts on Electra Beckum gear?

Keep seeing some nice looking machinery pop up on gumtree of this brand. Don't really know anything about them - does anyone else? Do they make decent stuff? Seen a pretty cool band saw on there at what seems like a good price if the machinery is worth its salt.

I don't know the full details but Elektra Beckum got taken over by or became part of Metabo. It was generally good stuff. I bought an Elektra Beckum site saw and a spindle moulder second hand a few years ago and they are still serving me well in my business today.

I have a BAS 315 bandsaw which was bought cheapish.
The guides are pants on these things because of the weak castings that will probably have hairline
fractures all over the place.
I made my own upper guide for it from steel.

As a bandsaw of that size it will only be good for freehand cutting I.e not using the fence for ripping and curve cuts.
