The Osborne EB3, my new mitre gauge.

Dear woodworker friends,

Several months ago I have bought a Deft table saw, and what is with a lot off table saws, I found
the mitre gauge not really where I was looking for.
After searching and on advice from several off my American woodworker friends ( lumberjocks.com ),
I’m sins this week the proud owner off a Osborne EB3 mitre gauge.
I bought the mitre gauge in the US directly on the website from Osborne.
I was pleasant surprised when I first saw the box off the Osborne EB3, that looks
very professional en promised a lot.
When I opened the box, first what noticed me was how ordered the content looks,
It looks like it put there with love for the product.
When I took the mitre gauge out the box, the first ting what surprised me was the heaviness
from the miter gauge, it field like very solid miter gauge.
I find that the operation manual is very good and clear, even I couth follow it.
To put the Osborne together was no problem and the setup was also easy.
It is also great that you can extend the Osborne and he keeps stable.
You can put even a tape abrasive sandpaper material on the front of the fence, this is included.
It functions to stabilize the wood and keeps it from “creeping” when you make the cut.
I’m very happy with my Osborne and I think (when I can do some woodworking concerning my handicap)
that it’s gone by a great tool, what indispensable for me is on my table saw.
It is a stable, good build and very precise tool for on the table saw.
I take a lot off photos from my new Osborne, I hope you guys find it not to much.

Great Review and pictures.

First off wheres your Riving Knife and Crown Guard gone, don't you like your fingers?

What made you choose this over something like the Incra system?

Mine has given me great service over the last few years - it's well worth the money!
I'd recommend attaching the sandpaper facing - mitre cuts really need it to keep the workpiece from slipping.

Why I find the Osborne better, first I want to say that the Incra also is a great
product.
I choose the Osborne because I think that the Osborne works easier, you
don't need tools to adjust the mitre gauge, by the Incra you need a hex key to adjust.
I find that the Incra looks more sensitive and I find that the Osborne looks
better.
But all off this is personally.

Yes, you have right about Riving Knife and blade Guard, but I'm still searching
for a good and workable riving knife and blade guard. Do you have idea's
But because off my handicap, I can't use my table saw so much, unfortunately.
But I try it everyday, it is my greatest wish to go woodworking again, so I
have a little time to forget my pain.
