I have a little problem with Sketchup. I have a fairly simple design, a run of kitchen units and all worked fine.
But it has got itself into a mode where any new shapes more complex than a square get the faces in a tizz. This is especially obvious with 3D text.
The design is constructed from components, i.e. all unit sides are a single component, and all 600mm bases are a single component etc. Despite using components the file size is around 3Mb and I put this down to the fact that there is 3D text on each panel describing what it is. The intention is to explode each unit and lay the individual pieces out to facilitate cutting.
Is this problem something that has been seen before? Is it related to file size? Is there anything I can do about it? I have already redrawn it once to get around the problem and now it has occurred again.
