Does anyone know a source? I got some from G&M but they don't list them now and don't answer emails. (I don't need to know how to make them.)

No, large ones for register pattern etc. chisels and large turning tools.

Say you don't want to be told how to make em but obv so easy from scraps of steel tube - also if slightly rusty inside, they grip the wooden handle much better. I had a few ready made but preferred the home made ones when refurbing a et of registered last year.

Can you design your needs around standard steel tube stock?
I could make them but can't be bothered, life's too short. I'd rather buy nice chromed ones.
Copper plumbing pipe is easier than steel tube.
But not good for my purposes.
It's puzzling how something that is fairly common is so hard to find. I have looked in vain, online, in the past and not been able to track any down. Brass - no problem, but steel/stainless steel, well, If the evidence of my eyes wasn't telling me otherwise, I would say they didn't exist
