Hi,
I am planning to build a kitchen in tulip and painting it with an HVLP sprayer.
I am concerned about damage to the paint and wood, being a kitchen. Has anyone used any clear finish over the paint to protect it more? If so, what? Is it able to go through a sprayer or brushed?

Cheers

hi Pond. I haven't used a clear over my paint but have you considered Morrells 2K PU finish? It is pretty much bullet proof once it's cured and it dries pretty fast too. HTH.

Don't use tulip because it dents if you look at it with a hard stare.

i thought of tulipwood cos it takes paint well!?

I would have thought beech would twist and move a lot?

Does Ash take paint well?
