Hi Folks,

My Makita SDS drill has finally started spitting out grease - so unless anyone knows of a solution to this, (that doesn't require me to learn all about the inner workings of an electric motor!), can anyone recommend / slag off a replacement?

It will not be used constantly, but more than DIY use - kitchens, bathrooms, general improvements, etc.

I am happy to get a Makita or Bosch, though noticed the Sparky machine - I have a Sparky channel grinder which seems fine, but the SDS will take quite a beating, so interested in others' experiences.

Thanks in advance for any input.

Greg

I'm very happy with my large Bosch. Has the key feature for me which is a hammer-only action. Only slight drawback is no reverse. Jake has one as well, I believe.
