well i just pull up in my truck in plain daylight on the side of the road and start cutting :lol:
i never touch a tree that is the other side of a fence only trees that are on the verge so in my opinion all your doing is saving a council worker or farmer a couple of hours work.... :wink: and we all know thats well recieved :wink:

My local fellow told me he just couldn't sell the beech he planked up (wish I'd known - I'd have had it), so he was trying to get it spalted, and if that didn't work it was going to make more sense to sell it as firewood. The world's gone nuts - all the wood that used to be discarded as defective is desirable and folks don't want perfectly good beech. :roll:
