Smaller tools dust extraction

Axminster sell a100mm to 51mm reducer that connects to a 2.9m long hose and stepped adapter . If i use the main SIP 100mm extraction system which is external and use the above to various smaller power tools will this work ok has any one a similar set up, any info would be use full.

Hi OLD

It depends what sort of extractor you have. If it is a High Volume Low Pressure (HVLP) systems like these the you cannot reduce the hose diameter without the flow stalling. If however you have thistype of extractor, a High Pressure Low Volume (HPLV) you will be fine.
