I wonder if someone here could do me a favour.

Last week I discovered that nearly all of my tools have been stolen. I'm making an inventory for the police. One of the items was a tiny Veritas marking and cutting gauge. All brass, about 3 or 4" or so long. The business end is protected by a short length of clear plastic and it comes with a test tube of accessories - spare blade, small Allen key, etc.

I don't think it's a standard item, I think Veritas did them as a Limited Edition. It was part of a very generous doggy bag from a open evening event they put on in Leamington Spa some years ago.

If you have one of these, would you be kind enough to send me a photo please? I can't find anything close online.

Thanks very much
Steve

I do wish folk would stop putting these "I want one" tools on the board - my wish list is far too long as it is :)

Sorry, Roger, it wasn't meant to be provocative!
(Mind you, I don't know how you work without one...)
