SIP 01466 Mitre Saw... Anybody got an opinion?

Hi,

It's out of stock at present but I need to save up anyway so it will be a good while before I buy but I just wondered if anybody had a review on this saw.

In the long term I would like to be able to cut metal with the saw too which is why I'm thinking of this one with the 2 speeds. I don't mind buying having a seperate blad for wood/metal so any other suggestions on saws would be greatfully apreciated.

This is an interesting one.

For the money, you look on the face of it to be getting a lot of SCMS, laser guide and all! The only thing is the lack of information as it's a relatively new one on the market. I will be interested as well to see if anyone else has experience on this one because at this price I need to get it reviewed on our website. Let's see if it lives up to its billing!
