Sedgwick PT info and advice

Evening all. I’ve been trawling through old threads about what to look out for when buying a Sedgwick PT, particularly the thread involving restoring an old one. I would like to be able to identify this model which is on offer for £900.

It looks in good condition but would involve a long drive to collect it and I’m not very confident in giving it a good health check. The colour suggests an older model. Any information about it and relevant buying advice gratefully received. Thanks in advance.

It’s a Sedgwick MB, that has a 12” width of cut and circa 10” through the thicknesser. It’s an older model with the shorter beds. They make extremely good machines and IMO the castings are thicker than the machines of today. It’s exactly the same machine @Sideways and I did up and posted a thread about.

Looks like a good machine to me. I am not very familiar with Sedgwick but overall it looks like a solid mechine that can be repaired and kept running almost forever.
