I’m trying to get an sds or sds plus chisel and drill bit extended to four foot.
However I’m finding it impossible.

Ideally what I need is an extension bar that has another sds chuck on the end to the required lenth but I’m racking my brains.

I got an sds drill with the chisel facility, but can hire an sds plus.

If anyone can advise it Would be appreciated.

Pretty sure all SDS bits are SDS plus now, your drill would be really old to be SDS only.

Anyway, I can't find an extension piece as you describe. You should be able to order a long enough drill bit though.

I've seen 1m long SDS Plus 22mm drill bits, would that do the job?

"SDS Max" is the larger chuck version. "SDS plus" is the more common connection

Most SDS extensions are below 350mm from what I've seen and they tend to have an arbor on the end as opposed to another SDS chuck.

They may exist but can't say I've come across one myself.

Can you share what you are trying to do? There may be other options.

It depends what you’re trying to drill. I’ve seen extension bars up to about 50cm but you’d obviously need quite a few. It would also be almost impossible to keep a straight hole.
If you’re going through brick/rock then a core drill would be your best bet but it’s not cheap kit.
