Scrollsaw dust extraction

I'm sure we all struggle to a greater or lesser extent with dust collection on our scroll saws so I thought you might be interested in a system that I have just installed on my scroll saw.

My saw is a Delta but the same system would work with any saw.

I store my saw to one side when not in use and pull it out to use it so I couldn't have a permanent connection to my dust extraction system so instead have a connection point and shove the end of my vacuum hose (still connected to my centralised system) into that. The beauty of using my centralised system is that I don't get deafened by the shop vac.

I have just fitted my disc/belt sander using the same fittings.

like the look of this system i have lots of 1 inch plastic pipe so will give it try but it will have to be to my vacuum cleaner and put up with the noise till i get my shop revamped
